Life before surgery was miserable for me. Thankfully, I had no medical problems, but I was unable to do things with my children like ride rides at amusement parks. I didn’t feel comfortable in any clothing. I would get out of breath going up one flight of stairs or walking up a small hill. I hated having my picture taken for memories.

I considered weight loss surgery for 8 years before actually having it done. I saw a total of 3 surgeons and finally felt comfortable with Dr. Doucette.

I can do so much more after surgery now! It has only been 6 months but the changes my body has been through has been so worth it! This summer I have been able to go to a water park with my youngest and be comfortable in a swimsuit and go down all the slides and water rides with her comfortably! One of the rides you had to climb up 8 flights of stairs which I done with absolutely no problems at all!
