My body rejected insulin. It would make my blood sugars go up. I couldn’t enjoy being a mom to my two young boys, and I was always tired.

It was always in my mind, but I didn’t think I qualified. A friend encouraged me to look into it, and as soon as I realized my insurance would cover it, and I qualified, there was no stopping me!

Everyone was great! I learned how to advocate for myself and communicate my weight loss goals and needs.

I can enjoy activities with my family. I fit in booths when we go out, and my diabetes is gone!
