I was very out of shape, had rashes from my skin rubbing, and had trouble doing activities because of my weight. I also couldn’t participate in some activities because I was too heavy. I suffered from sleep apnea and extreme depression.

I had heard of weight loss surgery but hadn’t done any research. I was at my heaviest and dealing with increasing medical issues and decided the sleeve was something I wanted to pursue.

The team was great. I had already started working with my general physician, and I had my first appointment in October and had my surgery in the middle of January.

I can do just about anything now. I can climb some stairs or go on a walk and not feel entirely out of breath and out of shape. I no longer have sleep apnea, and almost all of my previous medical problems are gone or very minimal.
