Before surgery, my feet would hurt every day when I got home from work. I would get out of breath just going to my mailbox. I didn’t have energy. I had high blood pressure, and most of all, I hated shopping for clothes. Nothing ever fit right, and I hated looking in the mirror.
I had thought about weight loss surgery for a while. I tried dieting, diet pills, and fasting, but nothing worked. I finally decided to go for it when I was 9 lbs from being g 300 lbs. I knew I needed help so I could live to see my grandchildren graduate.
The nurses and doctor was wonderful. They were all nice and helpful. Dr. Doucette did a wonderful job.
I am no longer on any medication. My feet don’t hurt or swell anymore after a day at work. I can wear clothes that make me feel pretty. I can run and play with my grandkids.
