When my journey began back in October 2020, I was 330lbs, and I was miserable in certain things. I was ashamed of my body, ashamed to wear certain things. I was afraid that I embarrassed my kids or even my husband. I know they loved me and still love me, but I was still so down and hard on myself. I fought for a total of 4 years with weight loss. I tried every diet pill available, multiple gyms, and had a personal trainer for a while. Nothing helped. I was devastated. I turned to Alabama surgical associates in November 2020, and they rooted for me every step of the way.

I had my Gastric Sleeve Surgery on February 4, 2021, at 330lbs. I am almost 11 months post-op and currently way 202.4 from a 2xl/4xl(24/26 pants)to a medium/large(13/14 pants)

I considered weight loss surgery for over four years. The team was great. They were very supportive and caring.I can do so many more things, and I can walk without getting out of breathe after 5 minutes. I can be more involved with my children and husband.
