My husband and I are pastors and wanted to start going on mission trips and traveling more. I wanted to be able to fly and fit on buses and trains without using seatbelt extenders. I also didn’t fit into the seats of roller coasters any longer, which is a big deal to me. I felt the Lord wanted me to lay aside the weight hindering me from running my best race in life. It was a very quick decision for me. We planned it for about a month, start to finish. Working with the ASA team, everyone was friendly, reassuring, and helpful! I can ride roller coasters and scooters after weight loss surgery.
